The 2009 Sussex CAA indoor Championships will take place at the K2, Pease Pottage Hill, Crawley, West Sussex, RH11 9BQ. We are pleased to be hosting the 2009 Southern Counties Archery Society (SCAS) Indoor Championships as part of the same event. The SCAS Indoor will take place during the day's first session, followed by the Sussex Team Championship and, finally, the Sussex Individual Championships. All three rounds have been awarded national record status by GNAS. Entry forms can be downloaded from the links in the next section (under Format). The K2 is a really cracking venue, one of the best available to archers in Sussex, and we're sure that you will enjoy shooting there. It is also easily accessible from both the A23 and M23, so the travelling distance and time for every archer within the SCAS region is reasonable. The venue's facilities, including the cafeteria, will be open all day. The main hall is spacious, warm and well lit, making it the ideal venue for indoor archery. It can accommodate 32 target butts (that's 64 target faces and 128 archers) in each session, so this will be quite an event. Don't miss out on what will be an excellent conclusion to this year's indoor season: download your entry forms and send them to the organisers today. Useful and related links: |

The event will comprise three separate competitions:
All three competitions are open to individuals and clubs affiliated to GNAS or another FITA Member Association. Entries will be accepted on a first received, first entered basis. If target lists and results are required by post, enclose two large SAEs with your entry. Alternatively (and preferably) enter your e-mail address on the entry form. This will save you postage, make life easier for the organisers (show some love, people) and you'll also receive an acknowledgement by e-mail when your entry form is received. |

| Record status | ||
|
This is a record status event and so adherence to the GNAS dress code (see Rule 307) is mandatory. There will be no exceptions. Please note that your footwear must also be suitable for indoor venues, i.e. it should have white soles and must not mark or otherwise damage the hall floor. Any archer asked to provide a sample for drug testing must comply. A refusal will be treated as a positive result. A parent or guardian must sign a junior's entry form to signify their consent to their child being tested. They should also explain the implications of drug testing to their child. |
